Bravo Retno Marsudi

The Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi, should be fully supported by her people. The reason is, Retno tirelessly always seeks support from Islamic countries and countries supporting Israel, to permanently end the conflict in Palestine.

People who have one voice, strongly opposing what Israel and its allied countries are doing, are not divided in their voices. To date, no less than 14 thousand civilians have died, and half of that number are children. So, is this actually a fair war or a place to kill weak people?

Most recently, Retno Marsudi together with the foreign ministers of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) countries continued their working visit to Paris and London.

The ministers who participated were from Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Nigeria and the Secretary General of the Arab League. Retno conveyed a number of things that were discussed in London, gathering support to stop the war.

Retno Marsudi's unyielding efforts are not only to maintain the mandate of the opening of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

But it is also directly to help protect the dignity of Israel and its allies. The reason is, these countries always emphasize to the world about love, compassion and peace.

But in fact, it has been more than 45 days since Israel (supported by its allies) has shown the opposite to the world. They carried out attacks on innocent civilians, women, children, even babies without love, compassion and peace. A real big lie.

Retno said that countries from the Global South have heard many lectures about respecting human rights, the importance of respecting international law, and International Humanitarian Law. Retno asked whether all these lectures and the values contained in them, as well as their standards, also applied to the Palestinian issue? It seems all crap.

"I convey that this is the time for the values often expressed by Western countries, regarding respect for human rights and international law, to also be applied to Palestine. Indonesia hopes that Britain will side with the struggle for justice and humanity," said Retno.

Bravo Retno Marsudi!
