Navigation is a basic skill that must be possessed by nature enthusiasts.
The ability to read navigation can reduce the risk of getting lost in activities and is the basis for supply management.
Unfortunately, in Indonesia, young adventurers today are often ignored in this skill.
In response to this, the Principal of the Indonesian Mountaineering Federation (FMI) Jakarta Provincial Board, Fauzan Ulva, held a "Navigation School" which will be held on May 29-31, 2025.
The theory is given indoors, in Jakarta. While field practice is carried out at the Sukamantri Campsite, West Java.
According to Fauzan, the investment that must be made by prospective participants is IDR 400,000 with the benefits provided in the form of Material Dictation (Soft Copy), Meals (3 times a day), Participant Number embroidered badge, Campsite Ticket, Federation Certificate with Lesson Hours, Eiger Merchandise, and Romer Map.
According to the Head of FMI Jakarta, Budi Satya, this activity is a real manifestation of efforts to create "Responsible Mountaineers" with the spirit of "Zero Waste, Zero Accident".
